Thu 15 Jun

Independent arrival at the 4-star Brooklands Hotel Weybridge, situated on the site of one of Britain’s most famous racing heritage circuits. The world’s first purpose built real race track, it was opened in 1907 by wealthy land owner Hugh Locke King and was the scene of the earliest motor racing in the country during the 1920s and 1930s. Welcome dinner in the hotel.

Fri 16 Jun

Join your guide this morning to visit RHS Garden Wisley, creation of George Fergusson Wilson, businessman, scientist, inventor and keen gardener. After Wilson's death in 1902, Oakwood and the adjoining Glebe Farm were bought by Sir Thomas Hanbury, a wealthy Quaker who had founded the celebrated garden of La Mortola on the Italian Riviera, and given to the Royal Horticultural Society in 1903. Return to the hotel for an independent lunch and some time at leisure, before transferring to the festival for dinner in the dining rooms of West Horsley Place, former home of the Duchess of Roxburghe, and recently inherited by Bamber Gascoigne. Early evening performance.

Sat 17 Jun

Today is at leisure for you to make your own choice of activity. In the afternoon we transfer to West Horsley for the early evening performance, with a picnic supper in a private pavilion in the grounds.

Sun 18 Jun

This morning we visit Polesden Lacey, a country retreat which was home to famous Edwardian hostess Mrs Greville, and was where the Queen Mother honeymooned. We take a tour of the house and gardens before returning to the hotel for some time at leisure. In the late afternoon transfer to West Horsley for the final performance and dinner served in the festival restaurant.

Mon 19 Jun
