Itinerary

Fri 24 May

Arrive early afternoon in Riga and transfer to the luxurious 5-star Grand Poet Hotel located in the city centre and a 3 minute walk to the Old Town. Relax before a welcome dinner in a local restaurant that evening.

Sat 25 May

This morning meet your guide for a walking tour of the Old Town and its numerous stunning Art Deco buildings. Highlights include the 13th-century Dome Cathedral, Riga Castle, St Peter’s Church and the impressive House of the Blackheads. Lunch will be in a local restaurant after which there will be an opportunity to sample Riga’s famous Black Balsam, a traditional Latvian herbal liqueur. The afternoon is at leisure before the evening performance at the Latvian National Opera House.

Sun 26 May
