Afternoon arrival in Frankfurt and transfer by coach (approx. 1 hour) to the charming city of Wiesbaden, which lies on the eastern edge of the Rheingau wine-growing region, and has 14 hot springs still flowing today. Check in at the 5-star Dorint Pallas Hotel Wiesbaden, located in the heart of the city. Welcome dinner in the hotel or a local restaurant.

Tue 23 May

Join your guide for a walking tour of Wiesbaden, lined with neo-classical buildings rebuilt after the Second World War. We see the main sights including a visit to the Market Church, the city’s tallest building and the landmark of the Old Town. The afternoon is at leisure – we recommend a visit to the Wiesbaden Museum which is renowned for its art and natural history collections, as well as antiquities from the Duchy of Nassau. Evening performance at the State Theatre.

Wed 24 May

Today we take a guided tour of the famous winery Henkell, including a tasting. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant before returning to the city for the late afternoon performance.

Thu 25 May

We travel out of the city today to Worms, known as the ‘City of the Nibelungen’, where Siegfried began his legendary adventures. We take a guided walking tour of the main sights. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant before returning to Wiesbaden for a free evening.

Fri 26 May

Day at leisure before the late afternoon performance.

Sat 27 May

Today we make our way to the Rehingau wine region, where we take a guided tour of Eberbach Monastery and enjoy a wine tasting at the monastery cellars. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant before returning to Wiesbaden for the evening at leisure.

Sun 28 May

Join your guide to visit the picturesque UNESCO World Heritage town of Rüdesheim, with lunch included during the tour. Return to Wiesbaden in time for the late afternoon performance.

Mon 29 May

Transfer to Frankfurt for your homeward journey.
