Itinerary

Thu 28 Feb

Early afternoon arrival in Berlin and transfer by coach to Dresden (approx. 3 hours) to check in at the 4-star Westin Bellevue Hotel, situated on the banks of the Elbe opposite the Semperoper. Welcome dinner at the hotel.

Fri 1 Mar

Join your guide this morning for a walking tour of Dresden, following in the footsteps of Richard Wagner, Carl Maria von Weber and Johann Sebastian Bach. We discover famous sights of the city which was magnificently restored after World War II. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant at the end of the tour. Afternoon at leisure and evening performance at the Semperoper.

Sat 2 Mar

Today we visit Wackerbarth Castle, situated between Dresden and Meissen. This winegrowing estate was used as the venue for many lavish parties held by the court of Augustus the Strong. Our tour includes a wine-tasting, followed by lunch served in the castle restaurant. Return to Dresden for some time at leisure before the evening performance.

Sun 3 Mar

Transfer to Berlin airport for your homeward journey.
