Late afternoon arrival in Salzburg. We check in at the 5-star Altstadt Radisson Blu Hotel, located in the historic city centre. A welcome dinner will be served in the hotel or a local restaurant.

This morning join your guide for a walking tour of Salzburg, seeing important sights such as Mozart’s birthplace, the Cathedral and of course the vast Hohensalzburg Fortress which looms above the city. The tour will be followed by lunch in a local restaurant, after which we enjoy an afternoon at leisure. Evening performance at the Grosses Festpielhaus.

Today we visit the Salzburg Museum for their exhibition devoted to the Centennial of Salzburg Summer Festival, which celebrated its inaugural performance on 22 August 1920. Here you can explore the rich history and heritage of the festival and its artists. Afternoon at leisure. Walk to the evening performance at the Grosses Festspielhaus, followed by a farewell dinner in the oldest restaurant in Salzburg.
